RiskMate

The Brief

A few years ago, we developed a risk management solution called bRisk (standing for BPS Risk). We then contacted a few risk management companies to see if they wanted to partner with us on a revenue share for any customers they sent to us that became paying customers (sort of like an affiliate scheme).

One company was very interested but said the way we built the system needed significant changes if it was to be successful in the market.

We mutually agreed that it should be re-developed from the ground up with their guidance on what features should be included etc.

Around 2015, RiskMate was launched. Since then, Robin who was instrumental in helping with RiskMate’s features left the company and started his own risk management consulting company.

We are glad to say we now have Robin on board as our dedicated risk management consultant.

Technologies Used

Public-Facing Website

The public-facing website is built on WordPress. There are various features such as:

• Newsletters
• Online demo request form

Web App

The web app itself is built on the .Net framework and is hosted on the Microsoft Azure platform. It uses the following platform features:

• SQL Databases
• Storage – blobs
• Storage – queues
• Storage – tables
